This Position Will Be Responsible For The Following
Daily oversight of Medicaid Eligibility operations and billing for MS Medicaid and MS Can products.
Monitoring and assisting Billing and Denials Specialist with daily activities
Provide support to contribute to departmental objectives by assisting his/her supervisor and by giving instruction and guidance to his/her fellow employees.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in Hospital and Physician billing
Superior knowledge of Medicaid Program eligibility requirements.
Knowledge of Medicaid billing.
Denial follow up required.
Current knowledge of regulatory and industry issues affecting medical billing including but not limited to MS Medicaid/MS Can Product requirements regarding filing of claims.
Experience with automated billing systems in a hospital setting and thorough knowledge of claims submission process for all major carriers and intermediaries including but not limited to Medicare/MS Can Products.
