Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope. This role is eligible for additional performance-based compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

We’re currently seeking an Events Manager to co-create and operationalize the most powerful and engaging events in collaboration with each functional area. They will create and deepen critical relationships for the firm, its partners, and our portfolio through world-class gatherings. This person will own the design, production and execution of a subset of our events program creating world-class experiences for a variety of audiences including founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers. This role will include close collaboration across the firm and will ultimately report to Paradigm’s Head of Events.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute on a segment of Paradigm events, including production, programming, project management, budgets, and post-event wrap.
  • Drive marketing and communication strategy for events, create event collateral, messaging and design, gathering feedback and approvals, curating guest list and crafting invitations.
  • Create experiences for a variety of audiences including founders and entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers at a world-class level.
  • Communicate with venues and vendors and ensure all internal and external stakeholders are kept up-to-date on planning, schedules, and logistics.
  • Provide day-of event management to deliver high quality, successful, and professional events.
  • Support on large scale events and various projects across the department, including assisting team members with day-of event execution.
  • Navigate a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with executing on tight timelines to meet event objectives.

Qualifications And Experience

  • 7+ years of events experience owning a variety of events end-to-end including private dinners, receptions, industry events, fireside chats, panels, conferences and summits
  • Experience creating events in one or more of the following areas: investment & venture, web3, public policy, recruiting, media
  • An interest in crypto and belief in its potential
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Trustworthy and adept at handling confidential information
  • High EQ, with the ability to stay calm and be solutions-oriented while resolving last-minute needs in high-visibility situations
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people
  • Excellent organizational and logistical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and writtenIntense curiosity and open-mindedness
  • Scrappy; willing to roll up sleeves
  • Team player
  • Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines

Compensation Range: $180K - $200K
