Responsibilities:
- Manages internal sanitation team to maintain proper sanitation and cleaning schedules, meeting DO & CO hygiene standards.
- Oversees routine locker cleaning and collaborates with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to meet company, industry, and regulatory sanitation standards.
- Works with vendors to order and maintain food-grade chemicals, ensuring appropriate par levels and coordination with other managers.
- Ensures Safety Data Sheets and Chemical Supplier Specifications are current; oversees PPE availability and training.
- Develops and maintains Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Verifies chemical titrations with suppliers and monitors daily chemical concentration of dispensing equipment.
- Analyzes sanitation data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Provides support for customer audits, health department inspections, and other audits/inspections.
- Implements and maintains daily sanitation schedules.
- Coordinates with Food Safety and Hygiene on environmental testing.
- Develops and maintains Environmental Testing Program.
- Monitors hygiene training and staff development, providing coaching, direction, and leadership support.
- Partners with supervisors and HR to implement corrective actions when hygiene protocols are not followed.
- Oversees internal employee and client training on sanitation protocols .
- Investigates accidents, prepares, and maintains required reports.
- Maintains, reviews, and reports on quality performance.
- Minimum of one year of supervisor experience or in a leadership role with similar responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems .
- Food Safety Certification and HACCP Certificate preferred .
- Skilled in operational procedures.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage through a substantial workload .
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills .
- Proactive and self-organized.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required .
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
- Expected salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually.
