Role Description
This position is responsible for the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and product procurement plans utilizing current sales and trend information.

Role Description
This position is responsible for the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and product procurement plans utilizing current sales and trend information.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with Procurement, Brand Growth & Brand Operations teams on the development of pre-season and in season demand and purchases. Analyzes historical demand data and utilizes seasonal selling curves by category, brand, and country among other attributes as required.
- Develops projections and purchase flow by sku/item. Provides other analysis related to driving business goals (e.g. hindsight’s, promotional strategies, etc.).
- Forecasts monthly and seasonal plans, to ensure all orders fall within approved financial targets.
- Analyzes and reacts to performance of strategy based on actual sales and current trend performance.
- Prepares and participates in monthly Open-to-Buy meetings.
- Partners with cross functional teams to develop and propose tactics in response to current business trends, such as: Makes recommendations for key financial strategies/decisions in order to maximize sales, margin and inventory productivity Monthly plan review process: develops sales, promotion, purchase and inventory re-forecasts
- Manages and executes promotional and liquidation strategy
- Communicates revisions within the team and to external partners
- Exhibits initiative to look beyond the everyday business to look for opportunities to maximize sales potentials.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, or business preferred
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandise planning, demand forecasting; inventory management, financial planning etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with minimum intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally
- Amazon or 3P selling experience a huge plus
- Experience in data visualization tools such as DOMO or Tableau
- Demand Planning experience in CPG, Home & Kitchen, and Pet categories a plus
