Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Supervisor located in Bossier City, LA. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills for financial reporting, and overseeing the use of accounting software to ensure accurate financial data. Responsible for supervision, scheduling, training, and development of Staff Accountants. Assists and performs as back up to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of accounting and related supervisory experience preferred. 
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year college/university in Accounting or Finance preferred, with a minimum of six (6) hours of accounting. 
• Ability to understand and interpret financial statements essential.
• Must be willing to continue on-going training in the accounting profession.
• Technical knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures, and financial reports.
• Understanding of related regulations, statutes, and filing requirements.
