America's Car-Mart is seeking a highly motivated and creative Corporate Instructional Designer to join our team. As a key member of our Learning and Development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective learning solutions to meet the training needs of our associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, job aids, and other learning resources.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness of training programs.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and technology-enhanced learning.
- Work with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track training programs.
- Provide guidance and support to trainers and facilitators in delivering training programs effectively.
- Collaborate with multimedia specialists, graphic designers, and other team members to produce high-quality learning materials.
- Participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement of existing training programs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of training solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field or combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and innovation in designing learning solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
