As a Data Analyst on our team, you will build financial healthcare models, analyze claims data and develop reports for stakeholders. You will have the ability to observe large-scale data trends as well as dig deep into the details. As a Data Analyst, you will translate data into meaningful insight; and this insight will support strategic business decisions aimed at improving both the affordability and accessibility of healthcare for our members.

Primary Responsibilities
- Model out scenarios to forecast impact of business strategies. Determine and complete additional analysis needed beyond standard reporting to inform business strategies
- Provide consulting services to external clients to understand and improve pharmacy benefit insights
- Use detailed claims data to identify and solve a range of scenarios within the pharmacy and medical benefit
- Write queries from relational databases and summarize information in a meaningful way
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to share insights on data trends across the organization. Mentor others on the team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of analytical experience
- Experience in data analysis tools (ex. SQL, R, SAS) to extract insights from complex healthcare data sets
- Experience manipulating healthcare claims data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to synthesize complicated analytics and communicate with stakeholders at various levels within the organization
- Experience with pharmacy analytics and proficient knowledge of the pharmacy managed care space
- Experience identifying discrepancies in data and recommending solutions
