The Director of IT Operations and Security will lead our technology infrastructure and security initiatives, ensuring best-in-class service quality and operational excellence. This role demands a proactive leader who prioritizes superior communication and collaboration across teams while driving security-first solutions that adapt to evolving threats and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with strategic insight, ensuring our IT operations are robust, secure, and aligned with our commitment to exceptional service and operational integrity. Position reports to CFO.

Licenses: Current Driver’s License
Education : Bachelor of Science degree or Associate degree in information technology, computer science or related field.

Project Management
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and effective communications.
- Implement best practices for project management and continuously improve project delivery processes and forecasts.
- Foster effective communication within the IT and between IT and other departments.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about IT initiatives, project progress, and any issues or changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues.
- Ensure clear and concise documentation of IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Monitor and assess IT security risks and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT security.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential threats.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including network management, system administration, telecommunications management, system and data backup and emergency recovery plans and technical support.
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Manages company help desk.
- Coordinates multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the IT team.

Licenses: Current Driver’s License
Education : Bachelor of Science degree or Associate degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
Experience Required
- At least ten years of experience managing an IT department.
- Suites, and help desk experience desired.
- All work is performed in the office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Able to work 40 hours per week, overtime as required, and night shift if needed.
