About the Role
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to act as a liaison between the client team, business and IT in the development of system enhancements and online tools. Implement technology and process-based solutions by determining the requirements for a project or program, analyzing, and documenting them, and communicating them to stakeholders

Day to Day
- Ensures requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation.
- Provide client management system and website production issue research and support to include managing any clean-up required for customer files. This entails working with various teams, carriers, and vendors.
- Identifies, verifies and documents functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools.
- Evaluates, troubleshoots, and analyzes business requests and submits requirements through JIRA
- Manage the testing, communication and documentation throughout development and production rollout.
- Develops reports through SQL script, analyzes data and delivers reports through proper distribution channels.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline our processes, provide viable options for enhancements and isolate the risks associated with them.
- Responsible for client management system and website testing, regression/sanity testing and/or UAT for all system enhancements, server moves, production issues, connectivity issues etc
- Assists with development and delivery of training and supplemental materials for new processes and clean-up projects.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of system rating, solicitation and policy issuance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Insurance and prior Business Analyst experience preferred
- BA/BS Preferred
- Experience facilitating meetings and requirements sessions with stakeholders to document high-quality requirements.
- MS SQL experience (queries, functions, reports) is a plus
- Experience performing UAT, Regression/Stress testing for system enhancements
- Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the desire for continuous improvement
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
