Position Overview
As a senior member of the Administrative Team reporting to the President, the Account Manager will work closely with the Production Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, and crews to supervise critical daily operations. This position will hold a crucial role in our team as it will serve as the main conduit of communication between the field, office, and executive staff. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional who can coordinate all maintenance business operations while at the same time supporting the growth of a diverse and fast-growing landscape maintenance company.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. Develop a thorough understanding of client preferences and property-specific requirements.
- Enhancement Sales, Estimating, & Management: Using Aspire software, identify, estimate, and oversee the execution of enhancement opportunities to improve client properties, exceed expectations, and increase profitability.
- Billing Management: Manage/review Aspire work tickets and execute client billing with accuracy. Collaborate with administrative and production teams to resolve work ticket & billing issues promptly and maintain seamless operations.
- Renewals & Scheduling: Using Aspire software, manage contract renewals and daily maintenance schedules for crews, while balancing client needs, crew availability, issues, and geographic proximity.
- Operational Oversight & Performance Analysis: Oversee all maintenance operations, including fieldwork, office administration, and interdepartmental coordination. Analyze Aspire reports to monitor crew efficiency, profitability, and job progress. Use data insights to identify issues, prioritize needs, and implement effective solutions.
- Aspire Mastery & Optimization: Master Aspire software to support business functions across all departments, with a focus on maintenance services and crew management. Proactively utilize Aspire to streamline processes and improve team efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Manage the performance of Site Audits to ensure all work aligns with WJ standards, identify enhancement opportunities, and meet client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Lead maintenance crews by setting clear expectations and fostering a positive work environment. Conduct team meetings and support crew performance.
- Employee Development: Oversee onboarding, performance reviews, and ongoing training programs, emphasizing safety, horticultural practices, and adherence to WJ standards. Mentor and coach team members to encourage growth and accountability.
- Division Management: Meet maintenance division goals and benchmarks set by senior leadership. Address challenges by identifying issues and prioritizing improvements in field operations, client relations, and administrative procedures. Mentor the maintenance team to enhance overall performance and increase profitability.
- A degree in horticulture or a minimum of ten-years (10) industry experience in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of five-years (5) of experience in irrigation design, maintenance, and repair
- A minimum of two years of administrative experience
- Experience with landscape management software, such as Aspire
- Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish
- Demonstrate excellent professional communications skills, with a clear ability to build relationships
- Computer proficiency - Mac/Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the ability to master other software
- A valid California Driver’s License
