Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Laborer to join our team at Tanis Concrete. This role is essential to keeping our concrete plant running smoothly by maintaining the yard, assisting with general upkeep, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including sweeping, shoveling, and debris removal.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities as needed.
- Assist with material handling and inventory management.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment for general yard maintenance.
- Support plant operations by ensuring materials and equipment are properly stored and accessible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous experience in a similar role, construction, or industrial setting.
- Ability to operate a loader or other heavy equipment (a plus, but not required).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and maintenance.
- Valid Drivers License
