We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Superintendent for our Bridgeport CT Wastewater Plant.
The Assistant Project Manager/Superintendent should possess 7+ years of experience in wastewater/water treatment and a Connecticut Class 4 Wastewater License.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Oversee hiring, training, performance, and development.
- Project Evaluation: Recommend improvements in staffing, scheduling, and equipment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports.
- Procurement: Manage material procurement.
- Documentation: Maintain work order system and records.
- Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred. 7+ years in wastewater treatment or equivalent experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and CT Class 4 Wastewater Operator License or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in facility operations, Microsoft Office, and analytical results interpretation.
- Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication and positive customer experience.
- Problem Solving: Detail-oriented with innovative problem-solving skills.
- Management Skills: Effective task delegation, prioritization, and feedback.
- Leadership: Motivates team, aligns with company values, and champions change.
Travel: 5-10%
