What We Seek:
The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking a talented individual to provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Development and the Executive Officer for Principal Gifts. This position will report to the Lead Executive Coordinator. The successful candidate will be the primary person to oversee the scheduling and administrative work necessary to support these leadership positions.
This person will research, prioritize, and follow up on multiple issues and concerns pertaining to the activities of the Senior Vice President and the Executive Officer for Principal Gifts, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature. Additionally, the selected candidate will be highly engaged in tracking and facilitating activities related to our comprehensive campaign, ensuring strategic coordination and execution.
This role also includes working on special projects, arranging travel, and helping coordinate events to support the overall goals of the development team.
What We Require:
The successful candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on a wide range of projects with a diverse network of stakeholders. We are looking for someone with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and a solid understanding of office management principles, procedures, budget preparation, and fiscal management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in prioritizing and scheduling work assignments. They should also possess strong research, analytical, and project management abilities, with the capability to evaluate and synthesize information efficiently to support leadership and strategic initiatives.
What We Prefer:
We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. May substitute five (5) years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
Compensation Salary Range
$47,000 - $63,000
Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

Work Location: Five days a week in-office initially. 700 Lomas Blvd. NE, Two Woodward Center, Albuquerque, NM 87102 (Possible hybrid arrangement after three months in position)
