Our Production Team is looking for a new teammate to help produce and prepare components, assemblies, and finished goods by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. Take a look at the description below and consider joining the team!

Basic Function

Produce and prepare components, assemblies, and finished goods by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

Activities & Responsibilities

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Assist with building maintenance and reorganization projects as needed.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education & Experience

  • GED, Diploma, or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years assembly experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in-house
  • Must have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to talk or hear to communicate with others via phone, in-person, and/or computer
  • Ability to listen to customers/vendors/colleagues, problem solve, and respond accordingly
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Environmental Conditions & Travel

  • The employee is exposed to manufacturing and warehouse environments with moderate to loud noise as well as office environments with moderate noise.
  • The employee is required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while working in the warehouse or manufacturing environments.
