Job Summary

We are looking for a Skilled Metal Fabricator/Installer to join our team and bring high-quality craftsmanship to every project. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing custom metalwork, ensuring precision and quality from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, welding, blueprint reading, and on-site installations. Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble custom metal components (e.g., staircases, railings, doors) according to shop drawings and technical specifications.
  • Installation & Finish Work: Transport and install completed projects, ensuring precision and quality. Work with other trades on-site for a seamless integration of metalwork.
  • Site Measurements: Accurately take field measurements and communicate details to the internal management team for shop drawings.
  • Welding & Metalwork: Primarily MIG welding, with occasional TIG work, ensuring high-quality, durable welds in various positions.
  • Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and work from technical drawings to ensure fabrication accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed pieces to ensure they meet the highest standards. Make necessary adjustments for perfection.
  • Equipment & Tool Maintenance: Keep welding and fabrication tools in excellent condition and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 3-5 years in metal fabrication, welding, and installation. Prior experience with railings is required; experience with custom doors, staircases, or architectural metalwork is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications with accuracy.
  • Welding Expertise: Proficient in MIG welding, with some TIG experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality, precision-crafted work.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and adapt when challenges arise.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy materials, work in various environments, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have a dependable way to get to Murray. Use of your own work truck will make you an additional asset.
  • Preferred to have their own work vehicle with tools.
  • Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience leading fabrication or installation teams.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn, improve, and develop within the company.
