Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, lay out, and assemble metal components for custom staircases, doors, railings, and architectural features.
- Welding: Perform primarily MIG welding, with occasional TIG welding as required.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and accurately follow technical drawings, blueprints, and shop sketches.
- Quality Control: Ensure all fabricated pieces meet the highest standards before installation.
- Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Keep welding and fabrication tools in top working condition and maintain a clean workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear proper protective gear (PPE).
- Collaboration: Work alongside experienced fabricators and installers to learn, grow, and contribute to high-end projects.
- Experience Level: At least one year in metal work experience - individuals with a strong work ethic looking to learn the trade.
- Welding Skills: Basic welding experience (MIG required, TIG is a plus).
- Technical Ability: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work Ethic & Reliability: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to craftsmanship can be more important than years of experience.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy in fabrication and finishing.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must have own weld hood and proper attire for work site.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to our shop in Murray, UT.
