Cadence, Inc., in Cranston, Rhode Island is currently hiring a Project Manager! The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating all aspects of a project, from initiation to completion. This role involves a combination of leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills to deliver successful outcomes. This role ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Should be able function in both office and manufacturing environments. Time may include time between an office environment and production floor. Must be able to tolerate sitting and working with a computer for extended periods of time. Fine motor skills are utilized when typing and using various office machines. Requires clear verbal communication, hearing ability and clear vision or reasonable alternative. Ability to move throughout our facility safely and effectively and interact with employees.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create a roadmap for the project from initiation to completion.
- Assemble and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities and tasks.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders.
- Communicate project goals, progress, and challenges to all relevant parties.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
- Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget constraints.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges
- Track project timelines and milestones to ensure adherence to schedules, identify and address any deviations from the project timeline promptly.
- Manage dependencies and critical paths within the project.
- Establish and implement quality control processes to meet project standards, monitor and evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet predefined quality criteria.
- Make informed and timely decisions to keep the project on track, resolve conflicts and issues that may arise within the project team
- Be adaptable to changes in project scope, objectives, or requirements, adjust project plans and strategies in response to unforeseen circumstances
- Ensure proper project closure, including documentation and handover of deliverables, conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Leadership and management courses.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong understanding of Project Management software.
- Understanding of data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent communication skill set; both verbal and written.
- Highly organized and approachable.
