GMF Steel Group is hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Production Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our production processes by supporting overall plant operations, ensuring efficient work, and managing logistics. If you have a strong organizational mindset and a passion for operational excellence, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production team is clocking into the correct job
• Run reports and perform additional administrative tasks as needed by the Plant Superintendent
• Follow up on shipments
• Coordinate steel being moved and transferred from the railyard
• Assist with weekly safety meetings
• Ensure active movement on active jobs
• Manage demerits and callouts
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in multiple technological platforms
• Proficient in Apple IOS and Android OS platforms
• Proficient in Tekla EPM GO, preferred
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
• Ability to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds
• Bilingual, preferred
  
  
  

Salary:

• $18-20/Hour
• Dependent upon experience
• Eligible for performance bonuses
  
  
  

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 6 AM – 4:30 PM, adjusted based on production needs, which can include working weekends or night shift
• Work schedule flexibility is required
