Senior Caregiver

Position: Caregiver

Location: Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Tolleson, W. Phoenix, Litchfield Park, Waddell, Sun City, Peoria, Glendale.

Job Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time] Flexible Shifts, days/evenings or weekends/overnights

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving duties.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
