Overview
The Durham Bulls are seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our seasonal team as Entertainment & Promotions Assistants. This role is essential in supporting the execution of in-game entertainment, fan engagement, and promotional activities at the ballpark.

The Durham Bulls are seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our seasonal team as Entertainment & Promotions Assistants. This role is essential in supporting the execution of in-game entertainment, fan engagement, and promotional activities at the ballpark.

- Game-Day Entertainment:
- Assist in the setup, coordination, and execution of in-game promotions, contests, and entertainment activities.
- Work closely with the On-Field Host, mascots, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of entertainment elements.
- Engage with fans, creating memorable experiences and fostering a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.
- Promotions Management:
- Organize and distribute promotional items and materials before and during games.
- Assist with pregame ceremonies, special presentations, and sponsor activations.
- Ensure all promotional activities meet branding and sponsor requirements.
- Event Support:
- Provide assistance during non-game-day events and community appearances as required.
- Help with event setup and teardown, ensuring all materials and equipment are handled properly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in promotions, entertainment, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage fans of all ages.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for providing memorable fan experiences.
- Personal Attributes:
- Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable interacting with large crowds.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sports, live events, or entertainment is a plus.
- Knowledge of baseball or the Durham Bulls organization is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with event coordination and promotional strategies is an advantage.
- Mobility:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the stadium for extended periods.
- Lifting and Carrying:
- Occasionally lift and carry promotional items, props, or equipment (up to 25 pounds).
- Energy and Stamina:
- Maintain high energy levels and enthusiasm throughout games and events.
- Schedule:
- Must be available for Durham Bulls home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed for setup, game-time activities, and postgame teardown.
- Environment:
- Work in a stadium setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Operate in a high-energy, noisy environment, interacting with fans and team members.
- A pre-employment drug screening is required.
