The primary role of the Stihl Power Equipment Specialist is to process all work orders for customer repairs, as well as servicing/repairing their equipment. The range of equipment includes Stihl power equipment, primarily 2-cycle handheld units. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability and knowledge required for this position, including having a minimum of three years of related professional experience. The candidate shall also possess good customer communication skills. Stihl certification is preferred but will train as necessary.

- Stihl Small Engine Company Certified Mechanic ( Silver or Higher Level ).
- Small engine mechanic experience ( 2 years minimum ).
- Supervisory Experience ( 2 years minimum).
- Retail Store Experience (2 years minimum).

Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of 2-cycle small engines.
- Basic computer skills to access information online.
- Provide high-quality repair services on all work orders.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment & tools.
- Responsible for completing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner.
- Responsible for communicating special order parts for all work orders.
- Responsible for completing service work in a timely manner.
- Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized.
- Possess strong communication skills as customer interaction may be frequent.
- May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.
- Ability to participate in the equipment sales process is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
