What You Will Be Doing
The Charters Accounting Supervisor is responsible for all aspects full -cycle month-end closing for Charters, GL account reconciliations, knowledge and support of AR and AP in Charters, ACMI cost tracking oversight and reconciliation. Duties may include but are not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, cash disbursements, cash receipts, bank reconciliations and preparation and distribution of monthly reports. This role ensures completeness and accuracy of accounting activities and supervises the charters accounting team.

What You Will Be Doing
The Charters Accounting Supervisor is responsible for all aspects full -cycle month-end closing for Charters, GL account reconciliations, knowledge and support of AR and AP in Charters, ACMI cost tracking oversight and reconciliation. Duties may include but are not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, cash disbursements, cash receipts, bank reconciliations and preparation and distribution of monthly reports. This role ensures completeness and accuracy of accounting activities and supervises the charters accounting team.
- Support monthly financial close including assigned balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and accruals for all Charter trips and financial transactions.
- Prepare month end reconciliations which include bank accounts, prepaid expenses and other asset and liability accounts for Charters.
- Assist in providing financial reporting and schedules as requested for ACMI cost tracking and reporting
- Supervise AR, AP and ACMI cost reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience or leading a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership or oversight.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Experience with Salesforce required
- Certinia knowledge preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn new programs/processes that may be adopted moving into the future.
