We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records File Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate data entry, patient record management, and outbound patient communication. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. This position requires a team player who can navigate multiple applications, communicate effectively, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
We have an opening for a Medical Records File Clerk to work in our Rockville, MD office. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with shift options of either 8:30am-2:00pm or 9:00am-2:30pm or 9:30am-3:00pm. The pay range for this role is $18-19 hourly.

- Manually enter information from patient requests into the system accurately
- Look up patient information and update patient forms submitted electronically
- Perform outbound calls to patients as needed
- Navigate various applications to retrieve and update patient data
- Prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Decipher different processes and apply them correctly based on the situation
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Work independently while also contributing as a team player
- Take initiative to solve problems and improve workflow processes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes correctly
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with patients
- Proficiency in navigating multiple applications and electronic systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-sufficient with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve
