Job Overview:

As an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician for our apartment buildings, you will help with various maintenance and repair tasks, focusing on delivering great customer service. You will work closely with the property management team to respond to resident maintenance requests promptly while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with assigned maintenance tasks and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to residents by responding to maintenance requests and inquiries.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks like plumbing repairs, minor electrical work, and basic appliance troubleshooting.
  • Assist in conducting preventive maintenance inspections to find and address potential issues.
  • Help keep the property clean and well-maintained, including shared areas and landscaping.
  • Report any safety hazards or building code violations to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
  • Work alongside experienced maintenance staff and learn from their expertise.
  • Support the team in completing larger projects and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in maintenance or related fields is a plus.
  • Some experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
  • Basic technical skills and a willingness to learn how to troubleshoot and repair common maintenance issues.
  • Strong customer service skills and a desire to provide excellent service to residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and be on call as needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to commute to properties.
