The Opportunity
As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Credit Union operates in a safe and sound manner through the administration of the Compliance Management Program. You will collaborate with leaders at all levels to ensure quality standards are achieved. This position is key to fostering a positive compliance culture by exceling as a compliance subject matter expert and providing team member support throughout the organization.

Education And/or Experience
This role requires Subject Matter Expertise and the ability to provide mentorship, guidance and training to other team members. While this level of expertise will generally be attained with a minimum of three (3) years in previous compliance testing, auditing or similar compliance related role and Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (or equivalent work experience). Priority will be place upon the demonstration of the ability to meet qualifications without an absolute focus on duration of experience, in recognition that the attainment of such qualifications may be obtained at different paces by different individuals.
Certificates, Licenses And Registrations (if Applicable)
Certified Compliance Officer through NAFCU, CUNA, or CRCM, or willing to obtain once hired.

Role-Specific Contributions
- Compliance Management Program Administration
- Maintain a proficient knowledge of consumer laws and regulations (Reg B, C, E, V, X, Z, CC, DD, SCRA, etc.), including relevant changes of rules/regulations, regulatory guidance, enforcement actions and advisory opinions of applicable regulatory agencies.
- Foster strong, collaborative partnerships with lines of business and serve as SME compliance resource for Credit Union.
- Reviews compliance policies with business owners per policy schedule.
- Regulatory Change Management
- Administer compliance management software and track new or changing laws and regulations that impact consumer compliance.
- Provide reporting on how new or changing laws and regulations may impact the line of business.
- Compliance Testing
- Develop internal compliance testing programs for retail, deposits, operations and lending areas.
- Manage Regulatory Compliance Checklists and updates as necessary due to regulatory changes.
- Conduct risk-based compliance testing on areas within the Credit Union to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, identifies corrective actions, trends and training opportunities.
- Present audit results and recommend corrective action for compliance related issues to various levels of business leadership.
- Assist in the resolution of compliance issues within the Credit Union
- Compliance Support
- Perform compliance research for new products, services, projects or department concerns.
- Conduct periodic reviews of marketing advertisements and regulatory disclosures to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws
- Develop and deliver training materials/documentation on compliance related topics, policies and procedures throughout the Credit Union.
- Gather information requested by regulatory agencies, internal and external auditors.
