Dedicated to enhancing Partner Nation defense capabilities, we deliver tailored aviation training, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) support, and International Military Education and Training (IMET) program. We navigate the complexities of global hiring and deployment, adapting to diverse international regulations while maintaining compliance. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to join our team. This role combines recruiting responsibilities with administrative support and coordination tasks related to OCONUS deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting Support: Recruit for aviation, technical, administrative, and management positions across Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and commercial projects.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, JS Firm, and other ATS systems to source, screen, and track candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, requisitions, and candidate criteria.
  • Conduct resume screenings, in-person/phone interviews, and negotiate job offers.
  • Promote job openings and represent the organization across hiring channels and job fairs.
  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements, including drug testing, background checks, licensures, education verification, and training, are completed.
  • Deployment Coordination:
    • Serve as a backup for the Deployment Coordinator, managing OCONUS deployment processes, including medical screenings, visa applications, and travel arrangements.
    • Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations and maintain readiness to adapt to evolving requirements.
    • Coordinate with vendors, foreign embassies, and other stakeholders to support deployment logistics.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain digital personnel files and update systems, including SharePoint and other file management tools, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
    • Use Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
    • Assist with preparing reports, managing documentation, and supporting other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work non-standard business hours when necessary to accommodate time differences for OCONUS operations.
    • Bring a team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude to foster collaboration and contribute to a supportive work environment.
Experience/Skills Required

  • 6+ years of industry experience in talent acquisition, human resources, and military recruitment, with a strong focus on the DoD industry and OCONUS operations.
  • 3 years of experience in military recruitment, sourcing and hiring personnel for defense-related roles.
  • 6 years of experience in human resources, including workforce planning, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Proven track record recruiting in the aviation, technical, administrative, and management sectors, with expertise in DoD industry hiring.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, JS Firm, and ATS systems to optimize candidate sourcing and hiring workflows.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Excel for document management, reporting, and data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving international regulations and deployment requirements in OCONUS locations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex recruitment challenges in high-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring seamless coordination across global hiring operations.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility, willing to work non-traditional hours to support global recruitment efforts and mission-critical hiring needs.

Travel Required: You will be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 30% for this job.

Work Type: In-person in our offices located in Huntsville, Alabama; this is not a teleworking position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with international recruitment and deployment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Previous experience in DoD or government contracting environments.
  • Previous military experience is a plus
