Working with Crossover
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Design interactive workshops to teach students the art of building genuine social media followings
- Mentor students on content strategies, from brainstorming to refining with AI technology
- Assist students in transforming their knowledge into profitable personal brands
- Instruct on the importance of meaningful metrics beyond mere likes and follows
- Facilitate connections with influential figures and industry veterans
- Share practical, effective strategies for navigating today's social media environment
- Relying on obsolete social media strategies
- Focusing on superficial metrics and ineffective growth methods
- Managing the school's social media profiles
- Becoming entangled in administrative tasks
Enable students to create genuine, engaged communities centered on their areas of expertise while equipping them with practical digital marketing skills.
Basic Requirements
- Proven expertise in social media management, content development, and audience interaction for individuals, businesses, or clients
- Experience in expanding and engaging online communities
- Comprehensive knowledge of current social media trends and best practices
- Practical experience with content creation tools and AI technologies
- Strong ability to coach and inspire, especially with Gen Z audiences
- Demonstrated success in building a personal online brand
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Willingness to work on-site in Austin, TX, with relocation support if needed
- Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship
