What You'll Do
Dispensary Operations
- Safely dispense prescribed medications and manage inventory during each shift.
- Keep the mobile dispensary running smoothly, monitoring daily activities, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Communicate inventory and supply needs to the Mobile Nurse Clinical Supervisor for timely restocking.
- Administer and read tuberculosis tests, facilitating referrals for chest x-rays as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical records system.
- Provide direct nursing care and support to patients, ensuring compassionate and professional service.
- Secure medications, patient records, and other critical documentation in compliance with DEA, DOH, and licensing requirements.
- Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring full compliance at all times.
- Participate in audits and regulatory reviews to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Work closely with team members to foster a positive, collaborative environment.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to contribute to the success of the mobile team.
- Support team goals and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Washington state LPN license (or higher).
- BLS certification (or ability to complete within the first 3 months).
- Experience working in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) dispensary is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of medication dosing and inventory management is preferred.
- Background in behavioral or mental health fields is a bonus.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups.
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse and no evidence of misuse while employed.
- Must pass background checks and drug tests.
