Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Electro Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and developing the electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems related to the operation of all equipment used in production in the most efficient way possible and with the least impact on production. The Electro Mechanic will be responsible for the prevention and repair of building infrastructure and will also be responsible for the overall operations on evening shift including production efficiency, quality control and staffing.

- Understands and follows all safety requirements, including Lock Out Tag Out.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replace defective parts.
- Performs skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting. Responsible for repair of production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Perform and manage daily routine preventive maintenance and maintain accurate daily repair logs.

- Provide support for all needed resources.
- Control all efficiencies within the plant.
- Abide by all aspects of safety within the plant, which include OSHA standards.
- Assigning, or delegating responsibility for specified work or functional activities within the facility.
- Training new employees.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing machinery and replacement of defective parts.
- Communicate and support the Plant manager in set-up production and operational priorities.
- Evaluate personnel
- Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Technical Degree in Electro Mechanics, Mechanics or equivalent preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in an electro mechanic role
- 2-3 years of experience in supervision
- Forklift certification
- Microsoft Office
- Superior reading and writing English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- The Electro Mechanic must be results oriented (financial results, efficiency, quality, delivery on time), strategy based, have the ability to develop others, demonstrate leadership and be a problem solver
- Good multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to work effectively, courteously, and respectfully with coworkers and other personnel
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good time management skills
