Clinical In-House Coordinator

We are currently adding a Clinical In-House Coordinator in Grand Junction, CO. The Clinical In-House coordinator is a regional position that helps take on all parts of organ donation referral activity, case management, with an emphasis on clinical education in designated hospital campuses. This role not only provides clinical management on case activity and is focused on the building of strong relationships with hospital partners across western Colorado.

  • In this role you would work 15 days a month for 12 hour, with a minimum of 60 hours per pay period (to include 4 weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday)
  • 12 hours on-call can turn into longer shifts – Due to case activity, this role is different than regular shift work. Overtime can be expected regularly due to the unpredictability of activity.
  • Collaboration is essential in this role. Communication between multiple teams within a tight timeframe is challenging and is a vital component of making our mission happen. You will utilize a variety of systems and phone work to communicate amongst the teams. Some of the teams you will collaborate with multiple teams, internally and externally.
  • You will be able to explore a variety of clinical education skills throughout your tenure. This role works closely with our Hospital Development team to provide real-time and scheduled education for clinical staff we partner with in hospitals.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Critical care- two years of critical care experience (hemodynamics management, vent exposure/knowledge, patient advocacy.)
    • Relationship Management and Dual Advocacy- ability to advocate for both the donor and potential recipient given difficult situations.
    • Critical Thinking- we face a lot of challenges. Finding a way to find compromises and continue moving the donation process forward is key.

    • $43.04-/48.42/hr, experience and education considered in offer
    • Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
    • Shift Differential: $6/hour, any hours worked between 7p-7a
