Operations Analyst

Essential Functions:

• Key contributor to ensuring monthly forecasts and annual operating plan are executed accurately and consistently.
• Analyze business data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the operations department.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, forecasts, and budget reviews for operations management and senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain sales & financial models to support decision-making and resource allocation within the operations department.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain budget vs. actual performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support operational initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis, ROI calculations, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed.
  
  

Competencies, Education, and Experience:

• Strong analytical skills – ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptability and Time Management – ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Process improvement methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations analysis or a similar role.
• Preferred, but not required, experience in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel and Tableau.
• Experience in conducting process mapping, root cause analysis, and implementing process optimization strategies.
• Experience in performing data manipulation, modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools to manage and coordinate operational projects, initiative, and process improvements. This includes project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
