Teaches primarily anatomy and physiology to students, advises students, maintains office hours, provides internal service to the college as assigned, provides external service as a representative of the college, pursues professional development, and provides leadership where appropriate.
Job Duties
Master's degree or above in Biology with a minimum of 18 graduate hours completed in Anatomy and Physiology or closely related subject matter.
Or Master's degree or above in any subject with a minimum of 18 graduate hours completed in Anatomy and Physiology or closely related subject matter.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching at the college level.
Qualification to teach general Biology and/or Microbiology also preferred.

Teaches primarily anatomy and physiology to students, advises students, maintains office hours, provides internal service to the college as assigned, provides external service as a representative of the college, pursues professional development, and provides leadership where appropriate.
Job Duties
- Teach transferable anatomy and physiology lectures and laboratories, and general biology courses as qualified.
- Set up lab exams.
- Develop syllabi, course materials, exams, etc.
- Use technology in lectures, laboratories, and online to enhance student learning.
- Work closely with fellow Biology and Natural Sciences faculty.
- Assist adjunct instructors and substitute for absent instructors as needed.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Participate in internal and external service within the college.
- Engage in an appropriate level of professional development as a faculty member.
