Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a landscaping crew to complete high-quality residential and commercial projects.
- Oversee installation and maintenance tasks, including irrigation, drainage, artificial turf, lighting, and more.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Provide clear instructions to crew members, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
- Maintain and ensure proper use of equipment and tools to keep them in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and crew members to address any issues or changes to project plans.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with hands-on work as needed, including planting, grading, mulching, and irrigation.
- Complete and submit job-related paperwork accurately and on time.
- Two or more years of experience in landscaping or a related field (preferred).
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing a crew.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and other machinery (required).
- Valid driver's license (mandatory).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret landscaping plans or blueprints (preferred but not required).
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Required: Valid Drivers License with the ability to drive a truck and trailer as needed.
