We are currently looking for an ambitious, driven individual who is passionate about interior design to join our team as a full-time Junior Interior Architect. The Junior Interior Architect is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in high-end residential interior design. This person will provide essential support to the Studio Design Lead, assisting in technical documentation, project coordination, and design execution.
This is an in-person opportunity and candidates should be available to work in the Newport Beach office daily, with occasional travel to the Beverly Hills office and client homes required. This position requires approximately 10-15% travel time, mostly within Southern California.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Studio Lead to render and complete 3D models, ensuring they are fully developed and ready for implementation. What You'll Do

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Studio Lead to render and complete 3D models, ensuring they are fully developed and ready for implementation. You will also be responsible for producing comprehensive design development plan sets that support the 3D models. Specific responsibilities may also include but are not limited to:
- Finalize and enhance 3D models initiated by the Studio Design Lead.
- Develop and produce detailed design development plan sets.
- Address job site requests by updating and rendering plans as needed.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the Studio Lead throughout
- project execution.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections,
- and millwork details, using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Assist in preparing surface specifications and material documentation in plan
- sets.
- Conduct site measurements and surveys, ensuring accurate integration of
- existing conditions.
- Research and source materials and finishes to support project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of design documentation and project coordination with
- vendors and contractors.
- Review of shop drawings and submittals for conformity to design intent.
- Support the Studio Lead with all other administrative and organizational tasks related to
- project execution.
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (knowledge of Enscape, 3DSMax, Layout is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of materials and finishes used in high-end residential design.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Must reside within (or be reasonably able to commute to) north Orange County.
- Must have a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and an ability and willingness to travel between offices and client's sites in Southern California approximately 10-15% of the time.
- Salaried, FLSA Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime)
- Base Compensation Range: $70,000 year + Discretionary Bonuses
- Paid Time Off: 10 Days Paid Vacation, 6 Paid Holidays and 3 Days Paid Sick Leave + Office Closed between Christmas and New Year's
