Responsible for providing friendly, excellent service to every customer whom approaches the Grill area. Prepares food and pour drinks for customers. Handles all cash transactions accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Prepares and pours all types of food and drink for customers and cocktail servers upon request.
- Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately and presents customer with grill receipt.
- Must follow direction from Waterpark Grill Manager for basic principles and procedures of food preparation.
- Familiar with daily specials.
- Refill condiments at end of each shift. May be required to perform other shift closing tasks.
- Adhere to all Health Department rules and regulations.
- Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care.
- Adhere to ZMC Hotels Standards.
- Must be CPR certified, MSDS trained, and completed A WAIR program.
- Must perform any other required duties as requested by the General Manager to aid in better operation of the hotel, grill area, lounge, and service to the guests.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the changes that will occur to your job.
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
- Ability to work with people.
- Must be able communicate effectively by writing, telephone and personal meeting situations.
- Must have an outgoing personality.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be organized and take initiative.
- Must be honest and work well with others.
- Stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
- Must be able to work in extremely warm temperatures.
- Must have eyesight that enables vision both near and far.
- Finger dexterity to type, to write, and work on a computer.
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English.
- Must be able to bend, stretch arms overhead and lift and/of carry up to 100 pounds
