What You’ll Do
- Provide IT Support: Assist with troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, responding to user support tickets, and guiding employees through IT procedures.
- Install & Update Software: Help install, configure, and update software applications on workstations while documenting installation procedures for future reference.
- Manage User Accounts: Support account setup, modifications, and deactivations for systems like Active Directory and Office 365, including password resets and access issues.
- Set Up & Maintain Hardware: Assist with setting up new computers, printers, and other peripherals, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment is properly inventoried.
- Support IT Projects: Assist in various IT initiatives, including office moves, hardware refreshes, and system upgrades, as well as software and hardware testing.
- Maintain IT Documentation: Document IT processes, update knowledge base articles, and prepare reports on IT activities, asset updates, and troubleshooting solutions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field .
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity principles .
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail .
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the IT team .
- Prior IT support experience or technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
- Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
- Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.
