This role is critical in expanding our reach and impact within the professional credentialing landscape. This role will report directly to the Director of Customer Success and be a goal based, commissioned position.

- Market & Contact Research + Outbound Prospecting: Conduct thorough research to identify and segment new prospects within the professional credentialing and cognitive assessment sectors. Maintain updated lead lists in the CRM, then perform 50+ targeted outreaches weekly. Adopt a “hunter” mentality to proactively seek new opportunities, qualify leads, and schedule discovery calls or demos.
- Collaboration & Campaign Coordination: Work closely with Marketing to create and execute integrated campaigns that align with sales objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Provide real-time feedback on campaign performance, lead quality, and competitive insights to refine strategies as needed.
- CRM Management & Reporting: Track all outreach activities, pipeline stages, and lead statuses in the CRM. Deliver concise weekly reports on outreach volume, conversion rates, and key learnings, offering transparency to both Sales and Marketing teams.
- Sales Strategy, Goals & Feedback Loop: Meet and exceed monthly targets for booked meetings with qualified prospects, contributing to overall sales growth. Communicate trends, objections, and competitor intelligence to help refine scripts, targeting tactics, and go-to-market approaches. Maintain a steady flow of insights to improve product positioning and enhance the prospecting process overall.
- Strategic Prospecting: Ability to strategically identify and segment potential clients, coupled with the prowess to tailor outreach strategies that resonate with different audiences.
- Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate BrightLink’s value proposition compellingly and succinctly in written and verbal forms.
- Digital Savvy: Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for lead generation, CRM software for lead tracking, and social media for engagement. Specifically, the ability to use Artificial Intelligence effectively will be a critical skill.
- Persistence and Resilience: Demonstrated persistence in pursuing leads and resilience in the face of challenges, maintaining a positive and proactive approach throughout the sales process.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, understand industry challenges, and tailor outreach strategies accordingly.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to collective goals and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating leads.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the professional credentialing, cognitive assessments, or related industries is highly advantageous.
- Digital Marketing: Exposure to digital marketing techniques and tools, understanding the integration of sales and marketing strategies.
- CRM Software: Hands-on experience with CRM software for managing lead information, tracking outreach efforts, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Base pay + Commission (OTE $55,000-$70,000)
