Care Advocacy Manager

We are currently seeking a motivated and highly organized Care Advocacy Manager to join our Medical Management team at HealthEZ. This role will be responsible for utilizing effective engagement strategies to establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with our members and clients. The Care Advocacy Manager will also oversee and guide a team of advocates, ensuring seamless communication and advocacy support to enhance the overall HealthEZ experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Specialize in HealthEZ Medical Management programs to facilitate, communicate, and coordinate care for members throughout their medical journey.
  • Collaborate directly with members, clients and vendors to provide exceptional advocacy service.
  • Enroll, update, and monitor advocacy cases to ensure accuracy and optimize process efficiencies.
  • Partner with the Clinical Director to implement processes that align with and achieve established goals.
  • Provide comprehensive advocacy reports to clients.
  • Oversee and provide consistent day-to-day guidance and support to care advocates, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to effectively advance the programs and drive continuous improvement
  • Support the intake and advocacy process to optimize workflows and improve efficiency across all stages
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and evaluate the effectiveness of care advocates to ensure continuous development and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with all members of the medical management team to integrate and align all programs seamlessly.
  • Offer clinical support to internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all parties.

Qualifications

What We Expect from You:

  • Associate’s degree/ Nursing/Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
  • Supervisor/Manager experience
  • Follows and understand HIPPA regulations.
  • 5+ years of customer service or direct client experience
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Previous experience in advocacy or medical management processes preferably in a health plan.
  • Strong Organizational, written and communication skills
  • Travel Required

Additional Opportunity Details:

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $59,000-$65,000*

  • Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
