We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive, company-wide safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across all Pritchard Industries operations. This role will lead initiatives to mitigate risks, enforce safety policies, and promote a culture of safety through training and continuous improvement. By collaborating with leadership and frontline employees, the Safety Manager will drive compliance with regulatory standards and enhance workplace safety practices. This position requires travel.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Expand and Maintain health and safety policies, programs, procedures and protocols.
- Evaluate Pritchard’s procedures, facilities and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions.
- Establish training programs and initiatives to ensure all employees are well-informed and proficient in safety practices, emergency preparedness and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations throughout Pritchard’s operations.
- Visit job sites and examine current safety procedures, evaluate and make recommendations when indicated.
- Develop and implement response plans, incident investigation procedures, including root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action/safety plans.
- Foster a culture of safety throughout Pritchard by preparing/enforcing policies, procedures, and systems designed to mitigate the risk of safety incidents/accidents through auditing and reporting.
- Develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and harm.
- Oversee and manage the development and testing of emergency response plans, ensuring readiness for unforeseen incidents or disasters.
- Maintain open and clear communication channels with all levels of Pritchard to promote safety awareness and address safety concerns.
- Collaborate with management to ensure safety initiatives align with Pritchard’s operational needs.
- Maintain records, reports and documents required to meet Pritchard or regulatory requirements.
- Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.
- Assist with safety training during the onboarding process.
- Review and update safety and auto safety manuals.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety related field.
- Safety & OSHA 30 certifications.
- Working knowledge of Federal and/or State regulations pertaining to Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations.
- Skilled in project management, problem-solving techniques and communicating ideas and instructions clearly.
- Skilled in relationship building, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives in a timely manner under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to travel to Pritchard locations throughout the country.
- Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000/year
