Role Description
- Mechanical Contractor in business for 20 years, we do plans and spec bids as well as design built.
- We strive to have a strong team at all times by showing and giving respect to one another.
- This is a full-time, on-site role located in Torrington, CT for a Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Estimator.
- The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, performing take-offs, and developing cost estimates for plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Day-to-day tasks include reviewing blueprints, preparing bid proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with project managers and engineers.
- Proficiency in Plumbing and HVAC systems
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for assessing and resolving issues
- Experience in providing excellent Customer Service
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with relevant software for estimating and project management
