Are you a seasoned architect with a passion for high-end residential design and a desire to collaborate with an innovative, design-build team? Boston Architects & Builders (BAB) is seeking a Senior Architect to lead projects from concept to completion. This role offers a unique opportunity to mentor junior staff while working closely with our construction teams to ensure design excellence and buildability.

As part of our integrated Architect-Led Design-Build (ALDB) approach, you will have direct involvement in every stage of the project, seeing your designs come to life in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and execution for luxury residential and multi-unit projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, construction drawings, and specifications while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and coordination with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and problem-solve construction challenges.
• Mentor junior architects, particularly in design theory, project planning, and high-level decision-making.
• Learn and adapt to Revit software, with support from junior team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with 7+ years of experience in high-end residential design.
• Strong design sensibility and ability to create functional, stunning architecture.
• Basic familiarity with Revit preferred (willingness to learn essential).
• Excellent project management skills, able to oversee multiple projects at once.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Boston-based or willing to relocate for full-time, in-person employment.
  
  

Salary & Benefits

• $100,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience.
