Onboarding Specialist

Position Overview
The Onboarding Specialist will play a crucial role in integrating new franchise owners by delivering initial training and education tailored to their needs. This position involves collaborating with emerging brands to develop and implement brand-specific onboarding programs, ensuring alignment with company standards. They provide ongoing support by tracking progress, addressing issues, and coordinating with franchisees and Account Managers to ensure the Small Business Administration (SBA) process and insurance applications are handled efficiently. By monitoring and facilitating these processes, the Onboarding Specialist ensures a smooth and successful onboarding experience for new franchisees.

Key Accountabilities
- Franchise Owner Integration: Facilitate the integration of new franchise owners by delivering structured communication and support throughout the onboarding process. Ensure franchisees receive tailored guidance to successfully begin their journey with HorsePower Brands.
- Brand-Specific Onboarding Development: Collaborate with emerging brands to implement and customize onboarding programs that align with HPB standards. Provide consistent updates and support to dedicated brand team members on franchisee progress and challenges.
- Onboarding Support and Progress Tracking: Monitor and support the completion of onboarding tasks, maintaining clear communication with franchisees and internal stakeholders. Track progress, address issues, and ensure all onboarding requirements are met accurately within the dedicated platform.
- SBA and Funding Process Coordination: Coordinate with franchisees and the funding project manager to track SBA progress and ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Insurance Application Monitoring: Guide franchisees through insurance requirements and vendor partnerships, ensuring timely and complete submission of necessary documents.
- Recruiting Partnership Monitoring: Educate franchisees on hiring requirements and manage introductions to partnered vendors, ensuring alignment with hiring timelines and expectations.
- System Monitoring and Management: Train and support franchisees on onboarding platforms, oversee their setup and use, and report system-wide metrics. Address usage issues, promote accountability, and lead improvement projects as needed
- Other duties may be assigned
- Proven experience in onboarding, training, or coaching, ideally within a franchise or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of onboarding best practices, franchise operations, and compliance, with the ability to tailor programs for diverse brands and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, manage multiple tasks, and provide exceptional support to franchisees.
- Proficiency in onboarding and project management software, with experience in developing checklists, tracking progress, and addressing issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in HR or training preferred.
