What You Will Do
- Drive the research and development of performance-based products from conception to retail, ensuring alignment with account and consumer needs.
- Generate innovative ideas and concepts for new performance apparel products that offer growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Lead innovation projects by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including product creation, manufacturing, and third-party vendors, to turn ideas into reality.
- Communicate findings, best practices, and new product concepts clearly and concisely to aid the transition of technology to production.
- Develop reports and presentations to share results and market concepts with relevant teams.
- Designing women’s performance training apparel, focusing on sketching, materials, fitting, and creative direction.
- Creating prototypes and proof-of-concept products using advanced materials, construction processes, and technologies.
- Developing concrete insights through research and engineering to guide the creation of advanced product concepts.
- Utilizing CLO, AI rendering programs like Viscom Ai, Midjourney, or similar tools to enhance design processes (preferred but not required).
- 8+ years of experience in performance or athletic apparel design.
- Strong technical skills with 2D sketches.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly adapt to active projects, and produce innovative, feasible solutions.
- Experience working cross-functionally and effectively communicating ideas and results.
