Accounts Payable Clerk Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department by providing general administrative support for the entire Company and its managed venues. The position’s duties include (1) invoice processing, (2) accounts payable administration, (3) vendor communication, (4) vendor account set-up and maintenance, (5) twice weekly bank runs to process change orders and (6) any other duties assigned by the Company Controller and Accounting Manager.
Accounts Payable Clerk Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in Accounts Payable
Age
Must be at least 18 to meet minimum age requirement to enter into the Company venues while they are open to members of the public and operating
Licenses or Certificates
CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred.

COMPENSATION IS $28.00 PER HOUR

Accounts Payable Clerk Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet all performance expectations and comply with all Company policies as set forth in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to all performance, attendance, and conduct requirements
- Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
- Accurately process and record invoices in a timely manner
- Server as the primary contact for vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Maintain accounts payable records, ensure compliance with policies and assist with payment processing
- Responsible for creating accounts, updates and ongoing vendor maintenance
- Responsible for all change orders for the venues which requires traveling to the bank twice a week
- Provide administrative support to the Company Controller and the Accounting Manager
- Any and all projects assigned by the Company Controller and Accounting Manager
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Superior attention to detail

- Ability to multi-task and work on projects with various deadlines
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Strong ability to read, write and speak the English language to perform the essential functions of the position and to be able to interact effectively with co-workers, employees and the public

- Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times
- Must have knowledge of all required legal documents, i.e., A.B.C., Health Department, Police, City, etc.
