JOB SUMMARY

Essential Functions

  • Updates employee information and prepares reports as needed including licenses and/or certifications
  • Enters new hire information, making sure information is accurate
  • Copies new hire packets and processes for background checks and drug screens
  • Logs, tracks and processes bonuses and reimbursements
  • Tracks timeliness and annual performance evaluations
  • Completes all employment and verification request in a timely manner
  • Creates and maintains employee files, as well as all registry/contract staff submitted
  • Presents HR portion in new employee orientation and conducts appropriate educations and in-service sessions as assigned
  • Screens calls and visitors; assists whenever possible or makes appropriate referral
  • Prepares employees badges, reissues badges as needed
  • Maintains spreadsheets to track Human Resource activity for employee turnover
  • Processes all resumes and/or applications received to appropriate hiring manager
  • Maintains job posting in Taleo system in accordance with approved staff requisition forms submitted
  • Assists in the coordination of the employee benefit programs administered through Corporate
  • Assist with Workers Compensation claims
  • Assists with other departmental projects as assigned; assists with all employee functions and activities
  • Enters Directors timesheets in Kronos
  • Prepares employee birthday cards monthly
  • Corrects employees time entry in Kronos when punches are missed
  • Assists in correctly payroll issues with Parallon
  • Schedules interviews with applicants for the Directors; schedules exit interviews
  • Maintains daily operations in the absences of the HRD

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required

Experience

  • Two years experience in two or more functional areas of Human Resources to include employment
  • Demonstrates knowledge of federal and state laws as they apply to Human Resources management

Required Skills

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
