Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Manager provides leadership and support across multiple facilities, ensuring HR initiatives align with operational goals in a dynamic warehouse and logistics environment. This role includes talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations. This role partners with management to foster a positive and productive work environment, support strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee orientation programs for multiple facilities.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement initiatives that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement in an operational setting.
  • Guide performance management, including evaluations and feedback, ensuring alignment with warehouse/operations goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational protocols, and HR policies.
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and audits.
  • Handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system across all facilities.
  • Conduct compliance reporting (e.g., EEO, ACA) and support audits.
  • Assist in managing payroll processing and workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on disciplinary actions.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and recommend policy updates as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and workplace safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and physically active environment.

Working Conditions

  • This role requires frequent travel between facilities and may involve exposure to operational environments, including warehouses. Moderate physical activity, such as walking and occasional lifting, is required.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.

Applicants Must

  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
  • Be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Education, Experience, And Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, in a mid-to-large organization, ideally supporting multiple facilities or a similar scale.
  • Experience in operations or warehouse environments is highly preferred.

  • Salary (paid weekly via Direct Deposit).
