Job Summary/Scope
The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) supports the integration across various platforms, ensuring data integrity through QA activities. They maintain the Business Intelligence (BI) reporting system infrastructure, monitor performance, and support data extraction and transformation changes. Additionally, they design, develop, and test reports, dashboards, surveys, and applications.
The BIA understands application and data usage to meet business needs and identifies data patterns to predict outcomes. They use current data analytics processes to help drive informed decision-making and organizational improvements. The BIA also designs and maintains databases and serves as a BI reporting systems expert, providing recommendations for enhancements. This role requires effective communication and technical and project management skills.
Essential Functions

Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree required. Prefer Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline. An advanced degree in business analytics, statistics, computer science, or other related fields is a plus.
Minimum of five years experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, Microsoft SQL platform database development, data mining, report development, and statistical analysis.
Preferred Experience With Tableau.
Microsoft Office 365 applications (SharePoint/Excel/Power BI/Word/Outlook)
Ability to write queries in Microsoft SQL or related databases.
Excellent analytical skills
Experience in configuration, change control, verification and validation processes, and risk management techniques and methodologies.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with various people required.
An adaptive learner who is self-motivated and organized is required.

Essential Functions
- This position oversees the overall operations of the BI program.
- Meets routinely with the Director of Quality Systems to review internal stakeholders' projects, goals, and requests.
- Under the guidance of the Director of Quality Systems, acts as the primary administrator of the BI program.
b. Utilizes knowledge of current analytic software and techniques, including statistical analysis and data mining techniques to identify and develop valuable data and reports.
- Collaborates with industry and internal partners to innovate data techniques, metrics, and reporting processes while defining report and dashboard requirements.
- Ensures the timely completion of internal and external report requests.
- Applies knowledge to design, develop, and maintain storage and data mining databases; pursues continuous improvement in the performance of the data warehouse and ensures data security.
- Ensures that data complies with governance policies and regulations.
- Adheres to established developing/programming/coding standards and documentation requirements.
- Assists in developing and refining policies and procedures for appropriate data use throughout the organization.
- Maintains proficiency in MS Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Tableau, and Excel applications.
- Serves as an in-house resource for all data related to assigned databases.
Enhances technical skills through professional education and training.
