Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Account Manager is a leader within the marketing team that has a keen eye for optimization and high proficiency in advanced SEO tools like Google Analytics. This role will act as the main point of contact for Forbin clients to provide proactive, data-driven solutions and is responsible for developing cohesive strategies that achieve desired business outcomes for Forbin customers. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Account Manager will contribute to marketing strategy development and present proposals to potential Forbin clients. This role involves continuous analysis of customer SEO performance to ensure marketing efforts drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

It is an expectation of this role to be highly collaborative with the marketing and sales team to analyze performance, recommend strategy changes, and execute campaigns. The ideal candidate will maintain industry and product knowledge, as well as inform the company and customers of market trends, changing market conditions, and competitive issues.

Responsibilities/Duties Of The Job

The Digital Marketing Account Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction with digital marketing services and showcasing the value in current client's investment as well as in proposals to potential clients; building relationships to gain trust and credibility with customers and offer strategy recommendations as needed.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and collaborate to establish clear objectives, KPIs, and strategies tailored to meet their needs.
  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies and solutions that deliver on our customers’ business and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee reporting, evaluation and insights derived from digital marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings.
  • Review campaign and recommend improvements based on marketing metrics to optimize performance.
  • Implement processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Responsible for assigned marketing customer relationships, development and execution of our top digital strategies and packages for assigned customers, including web, GBP, social media, email, blog, SEO, and SEM, as well as outcomes reporting.
  • Lead/coordinate customer status calls and support day-to-day communication with customer contacts, including responding to requests, sharing status, reporting results, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing to develop comprehensive marketing strategies for new leads and present those in partnership with sales.
  • Oversee social media and communications specialists responsible for social media and email campaigns.
  • Outline and facilitate tasks and responsibilities for assigned team members to ensure work is completed timely and accurately.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to develop and implement reporting insights and communication protocol with customers.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and platform developments and share findings with internal teams.
  • Acquire and maintain relevant marketing and analytics certifications, attend webinars, read industry blogs, and follow digital thought leaders to stay on top of the ever-evolving digital landscape.
  • Be a subject matter expert and thought leader in the digital marketing space; continually learning trends, products, systems, and applicable regulations. Author content and present webinars on behalf of VGM Forbin.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Adhere to all VGM policies and procedures and comply with all accreditation standards.
  • Follow strict HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in hands-on digital marketing execution, digital marketing strategy development, and presentation, including all integrated channels; preferably in an agency environment and/or working for multiple customers or business lines.
  • Demonstrated experience with web analytics software and SEM marketing techniques and tools.
  • Relevant experience using SEO and social media monitoring tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reporting tools and driving traffic to websites and landing pages.
  • Experience building marketing funnels with conversion KPIs and clear CTAs.
  • Experience with marketing technology stacks.
  • Problem-solver and innovator who will look for ideas and solutions through analytics, technology trends and audience insights to influence brand/marketing strategies.
  • Recognized proficiency to work well with others across the organization; demonstrating the ability to work cooperatively, build consensus, and obtain buy-in.
