Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Location: York, PA

Hourly Rate: $13/hour

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

  • First Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM
  • Second Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM
  • Third Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support our clients and staff. As a BHT, you will play a vital role in ensuring client well-being and the smooth operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the intake process for new clients.
  • Maintain detailed client records through verbal communication and written logs.
  • Ensure a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate client activities, such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
  • Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete shift reports.
  • Ensure adherence to client schedules and treatment plan objectives.
  • Monitor the medication line and assist with medication distribution.
  • Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Requirements: Valid driver’s license.
