General Purpose
Internally classified as "Staffing Associate," The Talent Acquisition Support Coordinator works closely with the Talent Acquisition team in a fast pace environment. TA Coordinator is responsible for managing the recruitment coordination and initial onboarding process as well as managing execution of Talent Acquisition related programs for the assigned business units. The TA Coordinator is an integral partner in the talent acquisition process as they are often providing candidates with their first impression of Entergy. This role also participates in projects to improve talent acquisition processes and compliance as well as execute on strategic initiatives. The TA Coordinator will administer the Talent Acquisition process and programs while meeting customer centricity and continuous improvement objectives. This role requires an individual to be highly organized. The TA Coordinator must work effectively with internal & external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills. In addition, they must have the ability to shift gears with a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping leaders build a great organization of highly qualified diverse talented individuals.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures, processes, and compliance control requirements are accurately and consistently executed.
- Responsible for partnering directly with candidates and hiring managers to organize and schedule interviews and phone screens including travel and interview logistics as needed.
- Serve as Test Administrator to administer Edison Electric Institute test batteries as needed to support business needs.
- Participate in intake sessions with hiring manager as needed to determine criteria for screening applications.
- When needed, review initial candidate applications for minimum qualifications and partner with Talent Advisor or Recruiter-Sourcer to refine slate of candidates.
- Conduct phone screens as needed in support of hiring needs.
- Foster a high-quality candidate experience by building candidate relationships during the selection process and ensuring they are up to date with any status changes.
- Draft and send offer letters, agreements, and high-level benefits information for selected candidates.
- Serve as primary point of contact for selected candidates following verbal offer acceptance.
- Initiate and monitors pre-employment screenings including determining pass/fail and partnering with Nuclear Site Access (including PHQ) to ensure full clearance prior to setting start date.
- Initiate relocation process and process signing bonuses as applicable.
- Partner with Hiring Manager and/or Talent Advisors to determine workstation needs, building access, application access and phone needs of the new hire.
- Prepare and send welcome letter to the new hire including key details for day 1 – time to report, where to go, suggestions for parking, dress code, who will meet them, etc.
- Coordinate day 1 activities for New Hires and conducts welcome call and day 1 meeting with Hiring Manager and New Hire to complete I-9 and E-Verify.
- Verify all data elements for the new hire to ensure employee records are complete and accurate.
- Open/resolve HRES tickets (Ex. Vacation adjustments, rehire vacation, position table issues, adjusted start dates, adjusted compensation, etc.)
- Prepare and send Pre- Adverse and Adverse letters
- Assist and monitor the export control license process for foreign nationals.
- Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
- Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
Minimum years of experience and education required
- Staffing Associate I: 1 years relevant work experience such as call center, clerical or confidential record keeping experience or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management
- Staffing Associate II: 3 years relevant work experience such as call center, clerical or confidential record keeping experience or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or other related degree with at least 1 year of relevant work experience such as call center, clerical or confidential record keeping experience
- Ability to understand & interpret data, analyze trends and identify actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, hiring managers, and candidates.
- Proficiency with MS Office products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
- Ability to handle & maintain confidential information.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, stakeholders and work streams simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment

- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Basic knowledge of Personal Computer Presentation and analytical software applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great understanding of customer satisfaction and teamwork.
